Registered Physiotherapist Pelvic Health and Orthopedics
Virginie completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa, graduating in 2018. Since, she has worked in private practice, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries for clients of all ages and activity levels. Virginie has a growing focus on women’s pelvic health. As a mother, she understands firsthand the importance of pelvic health throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and for returning to strength training and higher-impact exercise. She strives to support women in gaining a better understanding of their bodies by demystifying and educating around pelvic health, and guiding a safe return to daily activities, exercise, and sport. She is dedicated to further developing her skills in pelvic health physiotherapy. To date, she has completed:
Level 1 – The Physical Therapy Approach to Female and Male Urinary Incontinence
Her physiotherapy approach is client-centred, emphasizing exercise- and movement-based rehabilitation, while integrating hands-on manual therapy and education. She collaborates with clients to restore strength and functional ability, supporting a safe return to the activities and exercises they enjoy. Her completed certifications and courses are:
Outside of the clinic, Virginie enjoys staying active through CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting, which supports her understanding of strength training and return-to-activity considerations.
She is bilingual in English and French, allowing her to provide care in both languages.
