Registered Acupuncturist

Sylvie joined The Physio Space team in 2020.

Sylvie is a dual registered health professional.  She has been an RMT since 1999 and added Acupuncture to her practice in 2016.

Sylvie graduated in 2019 with a Diploma of Acupuncture Practitioner, with Honors and successfully completed her provincial licensing exams with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Ontario (CTCMPAO).

Sylvie’s treatment philosophy is that she is the vessel to help guide her patients back to optimal health.  This is accomplished by being present, compassionate, and providing a safe and supportive environment when providing treatment using Traditional Chinese acupuncture and modalities.

Post graduation, Sylvie has continued to expand her knowledge to be able to treat her patients effectively by pursuing a certificate in Master Tung acupuncture and studying Abdominal acupuncture. These additional modalities are used with Traditional Chinese acupuncture to treat the person as a whole.

Away from the clinic, her interests include spending time with her fur kids, playing golf, and a daily yoga practice.  Her biggest joy in life is learning a little everyday whether it be from a textbook, online seminars, patients or colleagues.

Sylvie’s mantra is “less is more”.
