Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Noor Al-Hashimi completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetic from the University of Ottawa. Following her undergraduate degree, she pursued a career in healthcare and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College.
Dr. Noor is known for her warm, gentle and hands-on approach to care. She works to create a comfortable and safe environment where patients feel heard and respected. She sees patients of all ages and effectively treats a wide range of conditions such as chronic and acute injuries, back pain, neck pain, headaches/migraines and sport related injuries. She also has a particular interest in treating pregnant women and has developed a keen understanding of the distinctive challenges and concerns faced by expecting mothers, with a focus on reducing the discomfort and pain that can arise during pregnancy.
Dr. Noor works closely with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address the needs and goals of each individual whether that involves reducing pain, improving mobility, or simply maintaining and promoting improved health. She firmly believes in the importance of patient education and frequently provides advice on lifestyle modifications and exercises that can help her patients achieve optimal health and wellness.
Dr. Noor holds advanced training in perinatal and pediatric care through the ICPA and is Webster Technique Certified, Graston Technique Certified, Trained Custom Orthotic specialist, holds Advanced Certificate in Sport Science and Human Performance and Advanced Certificate in Whole Foods Nutrition. Additionally Dr. Noor obtained her Medical Acupuncture Certificate through McMaster University and also can provide acupuncture therapy.
Outside of her work, Dr. Noor enjoys paddle boarding in the summer, ice skating in the winter and spending time with loved ones.
