Registered Physiotherapist, Pelvic-Health and Orthopedics

Briana has been a practicing physiotherapist in a variety of settings including private practice, home care and inpatient rehabilitation in a hospital.  She has a range of experience with orthopedic and neurological conditions as well as geriatric rehabilitation. Briana has a special interest in women’s and pelvic health.

Briana has completed professional development courses including: Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine (Part C) with the Robin McKenzie Institute of Canada and Mulligan Concept for the upper and lower quadrants. She is a BonefitTM trained professional through Osteoporosis Canada and able to prescribe appropriate exercises to clients with osteoporosis in order to reduce the risk of fractures or following fragility fractures.

Briana has a special interest in women’s pelvic health. This area of practice allows her to work with clients to improve quality of life and to provide education on self-management strategies.

Briana has completed pelvic health professional development courses in:

  • Level 1 – The Physical Therapy Approach to Female and Male Urinary Incontinence
  • Level 2/3A – Female and Male Pelvic Pain
  • Pregnancy, Pelvic Girdle Pain & The Pelvic Floor
  • Reframe Endometriosis in Rehabilitation


Briana approaches physiotherapy and pain with manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription and education. She is committed to providing client-centered care, an active approach to treatment and empowering her clients through education to promote self-management and achievement of functional goals.

Outside of her clinic hours, Briana enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and two young daughters, cooking and travelling.
