Véronique Bourdeau

Registered Physiotherapist

Véronique is a bilingual Registered Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics in 2018 from the University of Ottawa. In 2020, she obtained her Master of Health Sciences Physiotherapy from the same institution.

Véronique’s journey towards becoming a physiotherapist was shaped by a lifelong involvement in sports, including ringette, hockey, and soccer. Through personal experience with physiotherapy for her own injuries, she witnessed its impact on recovery and became inspired to help others in a similar way.

With a background in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation at the Hôpital Montfort, Véronique has treated a wide range of orthopaedic, cardiopulmonary and neurological conditions. Véronique’s approach includes collaborating with clients to establish meaningful goals and individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and educational components.

Dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth, Véronique has developed a passion for treating pelvic health conditions. She has completed the following post-graduate courses:

  • Level 1: The Physical Therapy Approach to Anyone Experiencing Urinary Incontinence
  • Level 2: The Role of Physiotherapy in the Treatment of Anyone Experiencing Pelvic Pain Through a Trauma Informed Lens
  • In the upcoming months, she will be completing Level 3: Biopsychosocial Reframed.

During her free time, Véronique enjoys engaging activities like dodgeball, soccer, running, crafting using her Cricut, reading, and spending time with her family.

Véronique is completely bilingual and would be happy to serve you in both official languages.
