Amanda Clément

Registered Physiotherapist Pelvic Health and Orthopedics

Amanda (she/her(s)/elle) is a prairie girl, hailing from the University of Saskatchewan where she completed her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2018 after earning her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Regina. Physio was always something she wanted to do, ever since the age of 8 years old. Her passion for physiotherapy was also encouraged through her years as a competitive ringette and broomball athlete, realizing the importance of injury prevention.

Amanda is an avid learner, always looking to expand her knowledge horizon to further support her clients and their communities. Not only is she a pelvic floor therapist, but she also treats orthopedic conditions (including the jaw). To date, she has the following continuing education credits to her name:

  • Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
  • Pelvic Floor Level 1: The Physical Therapy Approach to Female and Male Urinary Incontinence
  • Oncology and the Pelvic Floor
  • Pelvic Floor Level 2/3A: Female and Male Pelvic Pain
  • Pelvic Health Care for Trans and Gender Diverse People
  • Pediatric Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
  • Breastfeeding Conditions: Maternal and Infant Factors
  • Cesarean Birth and Rehabilitation
  • Bowel and Bladder Treatment of the Client with Neurological Dysfunction
  • Endometriosis 101: Moving Towards Better Care

Amanda’s treatment philosophy is to take the time and to create a safe space to empower each person to take an active approach to their recovery journey. She thoroughly enjoys a collaborative approach, et ça lui fait plaisir d’offrir ses services en français et en anglais.

When she’s not at work in the clinic, Amanda keeps busy with spending quality time with loved ones (including her husband and dog), playing ringette, planning her next travel destination, and indulging in her other hobbies and leisurely pursuits. If ever you have movies, books, or anything else “nerdy” to discuss, she’s happy and open for discussions.
